Wet Weather Forecast Postpones “31st Annual Topless 50” to May 24, 2025!

A continued forecast calling for wet weather for Middlebourne, West Virginia and surrounding areas on May 03, 2025 has forced officials from Tyler County Speedway and the Jay's automotive United Late Model Series to make the joint decision to postpone the thirty-first annual running of the “Topless 50”. The event has now been rescheduled to May 24, 2025 and will become the “Topless Earl Hill Memorial”. Paying $5,000.00 to win and $500.00 to start, the event will kick off the weekend for the United Late Model Series 25,000.00 to win and $1,000.00 to start “Outhouse 25” at Pennsboro Speedway on May 25-26, 2025! The United E-Mod Series $3,000.00 to win, $200.00 to start “Topless 30” will be made up on a date to be announced.
United Late Model Series Owner / Director, Trevor Zuver stated “We hate anytime we have to postpone an event, however thankfully in this situation we believe to have found a more suitable date by adding it onto our first event at Pennsboro for the season.” United Late Model Series is scheduled to be at Pennsboro Speedway on May 25-26, 2025 for the $25,000.00 to win “Outhouse 25”. Zuver continued, “With the rescheduling of the event, it saves teams on time and travel putting the two events together on the same weekend with the availability of $30,000.00 in first place prize money and nearly $100,000.00 in total payouts throughout the two events between Tyler County and our event at Pennsboro with XR Events. We cannot thank Doug Doak and Scott Jenkins enough for helping make this new date possible.”
Up next for the Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series fueled by VP Racing Fuels will be a trip to the Keystone State on Saturday, May 10, 2025. It will serve as the tours opening event of 2025 now and the first American Racer Tires only event for the season, the “Dave Kittey Memorial” at Latrobe Speedway in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Paying a record share $7,500.00 to win and a minimum of $600.00 to start! This will be the first of three trips to Latrobe dirt oval for 2025, with the “July 19, 2025 Chew On This - Jerky Night paying $7,500.00 / $600.00” and their annual Fall Fest on September 19-20, 2025 paying $3,000.00 on the Night One, and $10,000.00 on Night Two.
