Giving Cancer the Black Flag Event Postponed to Saturday, August 17th

Giving Cancer the Black Flag, the highly anticipated fundraising event, has been rescheduled to Saturday, August 17th. This decision was made due to the impending weather expected to arrive this evening.

The Hometown Racing Association had hoped for a better forecast for Saturday night, but after reviewing the predicted radar, it became clear that the conditions would not be favorable for racing. Taking into consideration the high cost of travel and a previous rainout at the Topless 50 with a similar forecast, it was deemed in the best interest of the racers to make an early decision.

The rescheduled Giving Cancer the Black Flag Fundraiser event will now coincide with the Season Championship and Hillbilly Qualifiers on August 17th, creating an even bigger and more exciting event.

In addition, next week at the Bullring, we have planned a doubleheader of racing. On Thursday, July 4th, we will open the gates for the RUSH Late Model Touring Series in the Annual Eaton/Childers King of the Ring, along with racing in all classes. Then, on Saturday, July 6th, we are thrilled to welcome the Monster Truck Summer Smash to the Bullring, featuring Black Stallion, Overkill Evolution, Higher Education, and Taurus. It promises to be a night of thrilling, high-flying family fun.
