Chalk Up Another Checkered Flag for Mother Nature at the Bullring

Unfortunately, Mother Nature claims another victory at the Bullring. Due to inclement weather, the races scheduled for Saturday Night, May 11th have been cancelled at the Tyler County Speedway. Mother Nature continues her death grip on the EQT Victory Lane so far in 2024 as this marks the second consecutive week and the fifth time this year that America’s Baddest Bullring falls victim to Mother Nature’s wrath.

A cooler than normal Saturday with a 100% chance of afternoon thunderstorms has forced the Hometown Racing Association to make the difficult decision to pull the plug on the annual Tammy Clegg Tribute Race and the Dirt Track Moms Night. With the high price of fuel just to get to the track and with the likelihood of afternoon storms we felt an early decision was the smart move for the racers benefit.

However, the Tammy Clegg Tribute Hotmod race will be rescheduled to next Saturday Night, May 18th, as part of our ‘Legends of the Bullring’ Booster Club Night. It’s always a memorable night at the Tyler County Speedway as we welcome some deserving ‘Bullring’ royalty into the Class of 2024 Bullring of Honor including Bobby Keith, Steve Shaver, Todd Gorrell, Steve Steele, and Steve and Sharon McVey.

The stacked night will now feature the lone appearance of PA’s RUSH Sprint Car Tour, the rescheduled Hotmod Tammy Clegg Tribute race and the Bullring Booster Club Night & Picnic (booster members get ½ price GA)! Plus regular racing in all divisions.

Let’s hope for better weather next week!
