RAIN & SATURATED GROUNDS FORCE TYLER COUNTY TO POSTPONE SUNDAY'S "HILLBILLY 100" TO SEPTEMBER 29; SETS UP A HUGE 3-NIGHT HOVIS RUSH LATE MODEL FLYNN'S TIRE TOURING SERIES SWING

(Middlebourne, WV)...A steady rain Sunday morning left the grounds at Tyler County Speedway heavily saturated, making the pit area and other parts of the facility nearly impassable. With showers and thunderstorms forecasted to continue throughout the afternoon and for much of the day on Monday, a decision was made to postpone the "Hillbilly 100" event for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series that was to also include the Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Dirt Late Model Flynn's Tire Touring Series to Thursday, September 29.
This now sets up a huge three-night Flynn's Tire Touring Series swing with the "Cider Jug 40" paying $4,000 to-win on Thursday night at Tyler County followed by back-to-back shows at Pittsburgh's PA Motor Speedway in Imperial, Pa. on Friday and Saturday night (September 30 & October1) for the "Bill Hendren Memorial". Friday night will pay $3,000 to-win, while a big announcement expected soon for the Saturday night finale. RUSH will once again join up with the LOLMDS on Saturday for the 34th annual "Pittsburgher", which carries a rain date of Sunday.
The Flynn's Tire Tour will resume this Saturday night (September 10) with the first ever appearance at Land of Legends Raceway in Canandaigua, New York. Pits open at 3:30 p.m. with warmups at 6 followed by qualifying and racing for the $3,000 to-win Platinum Event.
