Rain Postpones 54th Hillbilly Hundred to Thursday, September 29

MIDDLEBOURNE, W.V. (September 4, 2022) – A steady rain has left the grounds at Tyler County Speedway heavily saturated, making the pit area and other parts of the facility nearly impassable.

With showers and thunderstorms forecasted to continue throughout the afternoon and for much of the day on Monday, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series officials, Hillbilly Hundred promotor Carl Short, and Tyler County Speedway officials have jointly agreed to postpone the 54th running Hillbilly Hundred presented by Arizona Sport Shirts.

The 54th Hillbilly Hundred presented by Arizona Sports Shirts will now be contested on Thursday, September 29, 2022. The event will precede an already scheduled doubleheader weekend at Raceway 7 on Friday, September 30, and Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway on Saturday, October 1.

Fans that have purchased a three-day Hillbilly Hundred ticket may use those on Thursday, September 29. If you would like to receive a partial refund, please call the Tyler County Speedway track office at 304-771-5661.
