Mother Nature Playing Havoc on Early Season Race Schedule at Tyler County Speedway
While the calendar says it’s race season and spring, Mother Nature continues to beg to differ. On the heels of Friday’s cancelation of the 53rd Annual Hillbilly 100, the Hometown Racing Association has pulled the plug on the Saturday, April 9th 12th Annual Pat Herrick Memorial. Following week-long rain showers, unseasonably cool temps and even rain/snow mix in the forecast for Friday Night/ Saturday morning left little choice on the weekend.
America’s Baddest Bullring will now shift its attention to Saturday Night, April 16th as we reschedule the 12th Annual Pat Herrick Memorial paying $2,500 to win and welcome the Steel Block Late Model Series to the ‘Bullring’ for the first of three visits in 2022. Also joining the card will be the McClinton Chevrolet Mitsubishi RUSH Late Models, Jenkins Auto Parts UMP Modifieds, EDGE Hotmods, Middlebourne Galaxy Sportmods, Dual Threat SCDRA 4 Cylinders and Mini Wedges. It will also be the Long Reach Federal Credit Union ‘Bail Out from Boredom Night’ featuring every 48th fan thru the gate getting a FREE Pass along with $1.00 Dogs and a Giant Easter EGG Hunt for the Kids!
