Weigle Grabs First Win of the Season at 'Feature Fest' at the Bullring
A rare Sunday Night show at the Tyler County Speedway would see 119 racers pile into the pits and fans treated to a quick and efficient show during Feature Fest. Qualifications and straight into feature action would see Middlbourne, WV’s Steve Weigle pick up his first Super Late Model main event of the season. Also grabbing season first wins were AJ Spagnuola in the FASTRAK Late Models, Bill Tennant in his first visit in the Bullring Bombers and Blake Tasker in the Junior Mini Wedge class. Ischua, NY’s Rich Michael would make his second visit of the season the same as the first by parking the 17x in the West Virginia University of Parkersburg Victory Lane with a last lap turn 4 pass of Cody Brightwell. Jeff Gorrell would garner his 3rd EDGE Hotmod main event with Cruz Vandall picking up his second Sportmod and Carson Thomas also securing his second trip to Victory Lane in the Senior Mini Wedge class.
Be sure to join us next Sunday Night, May 30th as America’s Baddest Bullring will play host to one of the biggest races of the summer as we celebrate the Memorial Weekend, Tyler County Speedway style. Three big races and one big night will see the 27th Annual Topless 50 for Super Late Models paying $5,000 to win along with the 17th edition of the Dickson Classic paying $1,500 to win for UMP Modifieds. Plus the FASTRAK Late Models will square off in the 19th Annual Eaton/Childers King of the Ring plus regular racing in the Sportmod, Hotmod, Bullring Bombers and MWRA Mini Wedges.
