Tyler County Speedway to Sanction Modifieds with DIRTcar Racing/ UMP in 2019admin
(Middlebourne, WV) The Hometown Racing Association promoters of America’s Baddest Bullring, the Tyler County Speedway is pleased to announce the open wheel modified division will run under the DIRTcar UMP Sanction in 2019. The Middlebourne, WV oval which annually holds some of the divisions biggest events including the Modified Mega 100, the Let It Ride 55 and Dickson Classic while also playing homefield for the ultra-popular Renegades of Dirt Modified Tour.
With over 80 tracks around the country participating in DIRTcar events annually including national speedways such as Eldora, Volusia, Lernerville, Florence, Fairbury and many more along with several of our regional speedways such as Atomic, Portsmouth, Jackson and Moler, partnering the ‘Bullring’ with DIRTcar just makes sense.
After adapting to the UMP tire rule in 2018 with great success, Tyler County Speedway feels the timing is right to join the DIRTcar UMP sanction. This allows our many talented racers an opportunity to participate and compete for their share of the $650,000 point fund distributed by the DIRTcar sanction in regional and national division point funds annually. One other benefit that every driver hopes to never take advantage of is the $50,000 DIRTcar Member Benefit Supplemental Participant Accident Policy.
