Tyler County Speedway Forced to Postpone Redneck Thunder

With several days of rain, area flooding, including 3 ½ inches on Thursday Night and more rain forecasted for Friday Night and Saturday speedway officials have been forced to postpone the Saturday, June 23rd Redneck Thunder event. The grounds are just too saturated to offer an enjoyable Redneck Thunder event. Speedway officials are currently exploring options for a fall reschedule date for the Mud Bog, Trailer Race of Destruction and Tough Truck/UTV events. Look for more information in a couple of weeks regarding the make-up date for ‘Redneck Thunder’.

Attention will now shift to one of the tracks biggest race weekends of the season as America’s Baddest Bullring will present the 4th Annual Mega 100 weekend on Thur.-Sat. June 28-30th. A three day festival of speed is on tap as the best racers in the nation converge on the Tyler County Speedway to fight for their share of the over $100,000 purse up for grabs.
