More details on each event will follow in the coming hours and days. Tyler County Speedway will host one of the biggest Late Model shows going right now with a rare Thursday “Late Model Night In America” live on DoD and FloRacing on May 28th. The nations spotlight will shine on the legendary quarter-mile as action gets back underway at The Bullring in grand fashion.

Ohio Valley and Tyler County Speedway will combine to play host to a hybrid “MEGA 100” weekend for UMP Modified Teams on May 29th and 30th. Ohio Valley will dole out a solid $2,000 to win for teams. Then Saturday the “MEGA” Finale will take place on May 30th at Tyler County distributing a stellar $3,000 to win. Officials are seeking sponsors to boost the full purse. “This decision came with a lot of thought, but with the current state of racing and uncertainty running the MEGA as originally planned is simply not feasible” stated Cody Watson. “We felt it was in the best interest of many to move up the marquee modified special as opposed to canceling the weekend altogether as it was originally slated for June 11-13th. I truly think this will work out great for teams still unable to go racing in areas throughout the country. We invite them to come join us for a great weekend.” concluded Watson.

The following guidelines for safety of event staff and participants will be in place nightly. If anyone is experiencing symptoms or sickness, stay home. Anyone deemed to be practicing any actions against these guidelines will be removed from the property. Currently there will be no limit on the number of racing participants allowed at each event, unless otherwise noted.

Participants must distance themselves at least six to eight feet apart from other participants at all times. Attendees should not congregate in any group larger than ten (10) people and should not interact independently among other groups. (If you come with a competitor, stay with that competitors ‘group’.) Race teams are not required but are recommended to bring their own sanitizing wipes, hand wash and masks to be worn when necessary while taking all precautions to stay safe.
urthermore, there will be guidelines in place for a limited concession stand. Teams will be able to purchase drinks, water and select menu items that fall in line with state regulations. Hand washing stations will be located throughout the venue for public use in a safe manner. Bathrooms will be open but will maintain social distancing policies.

Upon arrival at the facility all teams MUST stay in their vehicle while waiting to enter the gates. Sales assistants will greet you and help you accordingly. “Pre-entry” and pre-paid tickets are available if preferred but are not required at this time. Registration forms will be made available online and should be filled out prior to arrival, then turned into assistants at the gate.
