Eaton/Childers King of the Ring Rescheduled for July 19th

While Mother Nature claimed her second checkered flag of the season, postponing the 13th Annual Eaton/Childers King of the Ring Twin Late Model features to a later date, Tyler County Speedway will look to bounce back this Saturday Night, June 28th.  The Hometown Racing Association will play host to the Annual Legends Night at the ‘Bullring’ when past speedway greats are invited back to Tyler County Speedway for a night of nostalgia and memories.

The Hometown Racing Association is excited to present the “Former Driver Appreciation Night”, just bring an old picture of your race car and get in FREE!  Plus be sure to bring the youngsters as kids 10 and under are free and get them signed up in the Dusty’s Kids Club as this Saturday Night the Kids will enjoy a pre-race pizza party!

A full card of J&R Excavating Super Late Models presented by Midcap Land and Timber, Peoples Bank FASTRAK Late Models, Two Brothers Motorsports Modifieds, Hotmods, Modlites, 4 Cylinders and JJK Mineral MWRA Mini Wedges are slated for action.  Gates open at 4, MWRA Mini Wedges take the green at 6:15 with hotlaps/qualifying getting underway at 7, general admission is just $10, while pit credentials are $30.  For more information contact promoter John Watson at 304-771-6874, raceday at 304-758-2660 or follow us online at

2014 Tyler County Speedway Schedule Update:   The 13th Annual Eaton/Childers King of the Ring has been rescheduled for Saturday Night, July 19th making a huge night of action at the ‘Bullring’ as the Renegades of Dirt Modified Tour is also in town as part of the traditional Dickson Classic.
