Eaton/Childers King of the Ring Kick off Double Header Weekend


A double header of Motorsports, Mayhem & Mud will be on the docket this Independence Week at the Bullring as Hometown Racing Association presents a jam packed 4th of July celebration.  The action will kick off on Thursday Night, July 4th for the annual Eaton/Childers King of the Ring Spectacular for the J&R Excavating Super Late Models presented by Midcap Land and Timber.  Twin 25 lap features will await the areas best super late model pilots as they square off to become the Tyler County Speedway’s 2013 Eaton/Childers “King of the Ring”.  Also on the top heavy Thursday Night card will be the extremely popular Renegades of Dirt Modified Tour featuring the best open wheel racers east of the Mississippi squaring off in a July 4th Summer Shootout.  See Kevin Morehouse, Rick Aukland, Jesse Wisecarver, Travis & Mark Dickson, Jess Hartman, Kyle Strickler, Rich Michael, Tanner Wilson, Nathan Loney, Scott & Amanda Stiffler among many others.   Also joining the spectacular card will be the Peoples Bank FASTRAK Late Models, Hotmods, Chris Metz State Farm Insurance Modlites and the MWRA Mini Wedges.  A gigantic Kids Bicycle Giveaway will also be in store for the youngsters on hand!  Gates open at 4, racing gets underway at 7! General admission is $18, while pit admission is priced at $35.  Dennis Anderson and King Sling will also be in the house getting warmed up for the Redneck Revival!  Don’t miss the Eaton/Childers King of the Ring, the return of the Renegades of Dirt and see Dennis Anderson at the Bullring this Thursday Night!

On Saturday, July 6th, the Tyler County Speedway will shift gears as the Redneck Revival Festival of Mud presented by Haas Environmental and Monroe Towing will take center stage.  The Redneck Revival Festival of Mud will feature a huge Mud Bog starring Dennis Anderson and his latest creation “King Sling”.   The pits will be full of “Mud Maniacs” willing to try their luck in the speed & deep pits.  Not only will fans get to see hordes of trucks splashing through the Mud Bog pit but they will also get the opportunity to see some high flying action courtesy of Dennis Andersons “King Sling” Mud Truck.  Dennis Anderson is the creator/driver of the Grave Digger Monster Truck.  Gates and Registration opens at 9am, with mud bog scheduled to start at noon.  Admission for the Redneck Revival Festival of Mud is Adults – $12, Children 7 – 12 years old – $5 and Children 6 and under FREE.
