FASTRAK NE Late Model Tour & Tammy Clegg Memorial on Tap This Saturday

Even though Mother Nature didn’t cooperate for Thursday Nights running of the Earl Hill Memorial, the forecast calls for sunny skies this Saturday Night, June 15th as the best crate late model racers in the country hit the Tyler County Speedway in the Peoples Bank FASTRAK Late Model division.  The FASTRAK NE Tour will roll into town for the $1,500 top prize on the line along with lots of contingency packages for the racers making the Middlebourne, WV stop a popular one among the nations premier crate late model racing series.

The jammed pack night of action will also see the seasons first big show for the ultra-popular hotmod division with the traditional running of the Tammy Clegg Memorial paying $500 to win.  A very competitive division that continues to grow weekly with competitiveness and cars featuring a diverse group of weekend warrior racers still enjoying racing on a budget, make this division one to watch.  You won’t want to miss the first “King of the Kounty” event in the Hotmod division.  A two by two battle royale among the top 8 qualifiers to see who will wear the crown of the “King of the Kounty” in the Hotmod division!

Also joining the card will be the bullring’s first ever appearance of the ¾ late model division, a new up and coming division looking for some track time.  Plus the Chris Metz State Farm Insurance ModLite division and the MWRA Mini Wedges will also be in action.  Gates open at 4 with racing getting underway at 7, general admission is just $10, with pits priced at $26, while children 10 and under are always free!

With the summer racing season kicking into high gear several tight point battles are heating up in 2013 at Tyler County Speedway with a few new faces sitting atop the leader board while several of the old guard continue to hone their craft at the bullring and are in the thick of the 13’ point chase.
